How to Prepare for World History UPSC
The world history curriculum was just briefly discussed by the UPSC. As a result, it appears that the majority of the main examination’s questions were taken from sources other than the curriculum. We must thus carefully revise the curriculum as a result of this. The world history course syllabus for the history optional can be used as direct assistance in this. Here, you don’t need to go deeply into these subjects; a general comprehension of them will suffice to enable you to respond to the Believers IAS world history part.

However, one thing to keep in mind is that the candidate should have adequate time to read each book at least three times.Second, given the limited time and importance of the mains paper, candidates should only seriously consider reading the Story of Civilization Part-I & Part-II (Arjun Dev) old NCERT book if they are just beginning their preparation for global history after the Prelims.
In general, a candidate should avoid spending too much time on the global history section of the exam because the Believers IAS mains paper 1 curriculum is relatively extensive relative to the volume of questions on it. That time can be better spent on other aspects of history.
